Acupuncturist
Christian Parraga is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist who earned his Master of Science in Acupuncture from the New York College of Health Professions in 2020. With over three years of clinical experience in multidisciplinary settings, Christian brings a comprehensive, results-driven approach to every patient he treats.
His clinical focus centers on pain management and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with extensive experience treating conditions including sciatica, herniated and bulging discs, radiculopathy, plantar fasciitis, muscle spasms, and post-operative recovery. Christian also has a strong track record addressing neurological conditions, digestive health, fatigue, insomnia, and mental and emotional wellness including stress, anxiety, and depression.
Prior to his formal education, Christian completed a two year clinical mentorship under an experienced acupuncture practitioner, where he developed a strong foundation in advanced needling techniques and classical acupuncture theory — an experience that continues to shape his clinical approach to this day. He incorporates a multimodal approach in every treatment — combining traditional acupuncture, electroacupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha, and trigger point therapy to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Christian is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is committed to delivering compassionate, individualized care to every patient he sees.
