Dr. Doreen Smith, DNP, is the dynamic CEO of Thrive Health, overseeing four thriving office locations with a focus on compassion, quality care, and community impact. A devoted wife, mother of four, and stepmother to two, Dr. Smith is a proud graduate of both Stony Brook University and Chamberlain University with honors. She also holds a paralegal certificate and a degree in legal studies, showcasing her unique blend of clinical expertise and legal insight.

With a robust background in neonatal, pediatric, and adult intensive care units—as well as emergency room experience—Dr. Smith brings hands-on care, crisis management, and compassionate leadership to every aspect of her role. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and has served as a guest speaker for Stony Brook University, HANA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and numerous underserved schools across Long Island.

Deeply committed to giving back, Dr. Smith serves on the boards of local youth football, basketball, and soccer programs. She actively volunteers, sponsors, and fundraises to ensure underprivileged youth athletes have the opportunity to participate, compete, and thrive.

Dr. Smith is passionate about empowering young people in healthcare leadership, mentoring aspiring professionals, and supporting youth athletes. Her dedication to family, education, and community is the foundation of everything she does.
Outside of her professional and community commitments, Dr. Smith enjoys traveling, attending her children’s sports games, coaching her children’s basketball team alongside her husband, and spending quality time with her family.
